IDRISI Andes Stand-Alone Installation and Activation Procedures

April, 2006

The IDRISI Stand-Alone installation requires every copy to be registered and licensed to a particular computer within 15 days. During this initial 15-day period, IDRISI will run in trial mode.

Installation

Inserting the CD into the CD drive should automatically begin the installation. If the installation fails to automatically begin, locate the SETUP.EXE file on the CD. Follow the installation instructions on the screen. You will be asked to input your Customer ID during the installation.

Activation

1. After installation, launch the IDRISI application. The activation wizard will guide you through the process. If you are not ready to activate the software, select the Trial Mode button to immediately access the application.

2. To activate your copy of IDRISI, select the Activate button from the activation wizard. You must then select one of the activation methods to generate your unique locking code. Once this locking code is generated, Clark Labs can issue you a license code.

3. Select email to email the locking code with your customer information directly to the Clark Labs. Select fax to print the locking code and your customer information in a format that can be faxed directly to Clark Labs.

4. Once the locking code and customer information have been verified, a unique license code will be sent to you to complete the process.
