Director – A director is the person that directs all the scenes and is watching over the actors and the film crew that they are following the script.

Cinematography – The art or technique of movie photography, including both the shooting and development of the film.

Costume – Costume is the clothes that the actors are wearing to fit with the theme of the film.

Close up- A close up is where the camera is very close to the object being recorded.

Medium shot – Medium shot is where the camera is not far and not close from the object recorded.

Long shot – Long shot is where the camera is very far from an object being recorded.

Setting – This is the main background of the story in the film for the audience.

Pivotal scene – Pivotal scene is where in the main scene something happens but then there is an action turn or a different outcome than expected.

Anti climax- Anti Climax is when in the film there are a lot of mysteries and then at the end the audience don’t get the answers to their questions.

Theme- The theme is based on the genre of the film for example a horror movie will have a very dark and cold theme with dim lighting, scary characters and mysteries.

Voice over-Voice over when there is someone telling you a story throughout the film.

Cliché-Cliché refers to a saying or expression that has been so overused that it has become boring and unoriginal.

Suspense-Suspense is when suddenly the action in the film stops and there is a small stop in-between the actions building up the tension.

Unexpected plot twist- Unexpected plot twist is when you’re watching a film and you expect something to happen but suddenly  something different happens which you did not expect.

Character-The character is a made up person with specific characteristics played by an actor.

Scenery- Scenery is a place where the shots are taken, the scenery depends on the genre of the film.

Shot- shot is a camera take of characters in a scenery which can be a long shot, medium shot or close up.

Spectacular visual effect-Spectacular visual effects are effects added to the film using computer animation to enhance the scenes of a movie.
