FOREWORD

Black m agick is the damnedest thing. You can ga i n all your
heart desires, but once you begin to obtain results those desires are
an Oceanic cave that never ills. The black hole sinks deep within
your soul. Wih evey ste p you take you can feel the pressure build­
ing. For years I have fe lt this criticl mass pushing and bui l d i ng be­
hind me. Like a wai t ng predator, the darkness on my heat lngered
and manipulated my be ing into a corner. There I found my Salva­
tion.
My beginning with Azazel started as any woring should
have: I saw his sigil within a cryptic Grimoire. I had read a bo ut
him before, but the following words that ripped a hole inside of me,
giving me an itch that could only be scratched by this iend:
There is a ritual of the Brothers, the likes of which opens
the Abyss fu l ly in your life. Many call this The Lake of Fi r e ,
however such a name is not worthy enough to describe the
horriying limitless of IT. If you are Called, y o u may be re­
born within the eternal Lake.
What was this ritual? I had to now. I began searching with
a ferocity that I have ne v e r before nown. Madness set in quicly.
The pressure I spoke of before pushed through a new barrier. Life
as I understood it would end miserably if my search for the Eternal
Abyss was not found.Perhaps I would have been better not to seek
it in the irst place.
