Welcome, and thank you for playing The Legend of Queen Opala!

This is a personal project I've been working on for over a year which follows the
lives of Egyptian Queen Opala, her evil sister, Osira, and their mother, Farah.
They live in a fictional version of Egypt, so no "real" locations exist.
And to keep it in the spirit of a real JRPG, there is no real "time period" either.
On a final note, this game is and should always be FREE, and it contains highly
adult situations, so you must be 18+ to play it!

But donations through PayPal and feedback is most appreciated!
Both can be sent to - Gabriellogan@hotmail.com

To Get Started
_________________________________________________

> Click "RPG Maker XP" to open the folder.
> Start the program "SetupMenu" and install BOTH available programs/files.

And make sure you install BOTH files, otherwise you'll get an error message.
In order to install both files, you have to boot up "SetupMenu" twice.
Don't worry, RPG Maker XP is completely free, the trial only mean that when
the time has expired, you're no longer able to build your own games.
But you can always play other people's games, no matter if the trial is expired or not.

Once RPG Maker XP is installed, you should notice the file "Legend of Queen Opala"
is now looking like a jagged circle with arrows pointing outwards.

> Click "Legend of Queen Opala" and extract the program wherever you want, like a zipped file.

From the location you extracted the game.

> Click "Legend of Queen Opala" to open the folder. (Not the zipped file)
> Start the program "Game" which appears like the jagged circle you saw before.

If you get an error message and it asks you for a serial number,
that means you're clicking in the wrong place and are actually trying to start
RPG Maker XP itself and not the game.

Also, Windows VISTA may have problems running the game.
If this is the case for you, your best bet would be to try and play the game in
Compatible Mode instead.

There you go, the game is launched!
Good luck!

Reported Odd/Rare Compatible Glitches
_________________________________________________

Unable to start game, getting error message instead
- Could be a result of not installing both files from RPG Maker XP
- Could be Windows Vista's issue to not handle RPG Maker XP projects too well
- Could be you're trying to boot up the wrong program after installing
- Could be you're missing a certain ".dll" file, Google it and you'll find it

Weird "walking" glitch, character automatically moving left and you're unable to move freely
This is also affecting the Inventory Menu when you hit the ESC button
- Reported for Windows XP Home Edition and Windows Vista
- Try saving the game, then close everything, start the game back up and load the save
- Try using the arrows on the keypad instead of the regular arrows, or vice versa.

No voice clips are being played
- Reported for Windows XP Pro and Windows XP
- Download and install K-Lite Codec Pack, also known as CCCP, this should fix it.

Can't play game at all due to having a non-Window OS on your computer
- For Linux and/or MAC OSX, use a program called Wine to run the essential programs
